Our Results

Our children make ‘better than good’ progress over time they are with us and typically outperform children nationally by the time they leave us at the end of key stage 2.

KS1 results 2018

A higher proportion of children at Henwick achieved the expected standard, or above, in reading, writing and maths combined (RWM), writing, maths and science at KS1 than children did nationally (in 2017).

KS2 results 2018

A higher proportion of children at Henwick achieved the expected standard, or above, in all subjects at the end of KS2, than children did nationally in 2018.

The proportion of children at Henwick achieving the higher standard, or greater depth, was also above national (2017) in reading, writing, maths and English Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (EGPS).

The children’s average scaled scores at KS2 were above the national average in reading and maths in 2018.

Disadvantaged Children

Disadvantaged children at Henwick typically achieve significantly better than disadvantaged children nationally, and almost in line with non-disadvantaged children nationally.

Children with additional needs

Children with additional needs make outstanding progress over time.  A significantly higher proportion of these children achieve the standard by the end of KS2, compared to children with SEN support nationally.
