School Uniform
The main details of our school uniform expectations are below. It is designed to be smart, practical and inclusive. All children should come to school in uniform.

The Uniform
- White polo shirt or shirt (plain or with the Henwick logo)
- Dark grey or black trousers, skirt or dress (plain, no logos)
- Dark grey or black shorts in the summer (plain, no logos)
- Yellow or blue checked summer dress in the summer
- Navy blue jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt (plain or with the Henwick logo)
- Sensible black shoes or trainers (no boots, open toe, heels or coloured trainers/plimsolls)
All items of uniform should be clearly be marked with your child's name. Hats, gloves, coats, scarves, bags, lunch boxes, drinks container, vest, and socks also require marking with your child’s name.

Jewellery
- Jewellery and nail varnish should not be worn in school - this includes rings, necklaces, bracelets and other items of jewellery.
- Children with pierced ears should only wear studs and these should be removed before PE lessons. If your child is unable to remove their own ear studs, they should be removed at home before they come to school on the days they have PE.
Shoes With Laces
Please ensure children know how to tie laces before sending them into school with laces on them.
Electronic and GPS-enabled devices
Children are prohibited from wearing tracking devices and GPS-enabled devices to school and during educational trips.
The use of such devices can lead to safeguarding breaches, privacy concerns, misapplication and an erosion of trust between parents and school staff.
Any such devices will be removed.
