School Uniform

The details of our school uniform are below. It is designed to be smart and practical. All children should come to school in uniform.

The Uniform

Boys	White polo shirt or shirt (plain or with the Henwick logo) Dark grey or black trousers (plain, no logos) Dark grey or black shorts in the summer (plain, no logos) Navy blue jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt (plain or with the Henwick logo) Black shoes or black trainers
Girls	White polo shirt or shirt (plain or with the Henwick logo) Dark grey or black trousers, skirt or dress (plain, no logos) Dark grey or black shorts in the summer (plain, no logos) Yellow or blue checked summer dress in the summer Navy blue jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt (plain or with the Henwick logo) Black shoes or black trainers

All items of uniform should be clearly be marked. Hats, gloves, coats, scarves, bags, lunch boxes, drinks container, vest, and socks also require marking with your child’s name.

PE Kit

Navy blue shorts in the summer
Navy blue jogging bottoms in the winter
Navy blue sweatshirt in the winter
Yellow t-shirt (plain or with the Henwick logo)
Plimsolls or trainers

Children should wear their PE kit to school on the days they have PE

Jewellery

Jewellery and nail varnish should not be worn in school - this includes rings, necklaces, bracelets and other items of jewellery.
Children with pierced ears should only wear studs and these should be removed before PE lessons. If your child is unable to remove their own ear studs, they should be removed at home before they come to school on the days they have PE.

Shoes With Laces

Please ensure children know how to tie laces before sending them into school with laces on them.
